Let go of “measuring up”. Many mothers spend way too much time comparing themselves to other mothers, wishing they were more organized, more creative, could cook better, or play sports better, etc. But what you don’t realize is that your children are attached to the unique mom that you are, and they don’t want any other mother. My son absolutely loves when we have the macaroni and cheese from a box for dinner when Dad works late!
So let go of comparing yourself to supermodel moms, your Martha Stewart neighbor mom, or the president of the PTA, and look at yourself through your kids eyes. What do your kids see in you? Then give yourself credit for your strengths and the hard work you do!
Be you, unlimited,
Are we connected?
